Category 19 – Alzheimer’s Disease and Degenerative Neurodiversity

Target Audience	Intended for: People living with Alzheimer’s or another neurodivergent condition in its early stages who wish to express their thoughts, fears, emotions, or memories through creativity. Family members or close friends, healthcare professionals, who wish to share their experiences, reflections, and insights on the impact of this neurodivergent condition on their environment.
Accepted Works	Written, visual, and audiovisual works are accepted.
Accepted genres	Written: Stories, poems, personal accounts, short stories, or other literary works. Visual: Drawings, illustrations, photographs. Audiovisual: Videos.
Maximum length	Written: Maximum 4,000 words (equivalent to a maximum of 10 single-sided pages, using 12-point Arial font with 1.0 line spacing). Videos: Maximum duration of 15 minutes. Each participant may submit up to 2 works in total, combining any of the accepted formats.
Accepted format	Written works: Word or PDF. Visuals: JPG, PNG, or PDF, in high resolution. Audiovisuals: MP4.
Accepted languages	Spanish (Castilian) Portuguese
Entry limit	Maximum number of entries accepted: 100. Registration will close once this limit is reached or on the registration deadline, whichever comes first.
